Members of AWA
The clubs within the AWA are the actual members. Each club is represented by delegates at AWA meetings. They make decisions on behalf of the clubs and their members in the name of AWA.
The individual persons, who are members of affiliated clubs (members of AWA) are referred to as members in the AWA constitution and are also called "affiliated members".
These members have representation through their club and can also have a direct voice at the AWA Annual General Meeting and any Special General Meeting which are open to all "affiliate members" and may be invited to speak at meetings, but voting is carried out by the delegates.
Joining the AWA is done by joining an affiliated club, or directly as a Country Member. This is a special case provided for persons who live at a distance from a club.
