Dorothy Buckley Trophy
The Dorothy Buckley Trophy is a awarded to a participant flying in AWA sanctioned State competitions achieving the most points allocated in the calendar year.
The events held consist of control line, free flight, gliding and old timers (SAM270). As the events are completed, Contest Directors provide a report to the AWA Contest Secretary.
For those competing, points are allocated towards the Trophy decided at the end of the calendar year , 7 points (1st), 5 points (2nd), 3 points(3rd) and all other competitors earn 1 point each. Team events points are divided.
